The Divine Mercy Chaplet was revealed by Jesus to Saint Faustina Kowalska in 1935 through private revelations recorded in her Diary. He taught her this prayer as a special means of obtaining mercy for the world, especially for sinners and the dying. The Divine Mercy Chaplet is a powerful Catholic prayer focused on trusting in God’s infinite mercy revealed through Jesus Christ. It is prayed to ask forgiveness for sins, to intercede for the whole world, and to obtain mercy for ourselves and others, especially in times of suffering, fear, and at the hour of death. Through this chaplet, we unite ourselves with the Passion of Jesus and place our complete confidence in His love, believing that no soul is beyond the reach of God’s mercy.

You expired, Jesus, but the Source of Life gushed forth for souls, and the Ocean of Mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.
R.
Amen.

O Blood and Water that gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a Fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You.

V.
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
R.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary
V.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
R.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Apostles Creed
V.
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
R.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
